At BeardEase Skincare, we sell cosmetic and personal-care products designed for direct skin application. Due to the nature of these products and in strict adherence to South African health and International, safety, and hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any cosmetic products.

This policy exists to protect our customers, our supply chain, and public health. It is not negotiable.

1. No Returns on Cosmetic Products

All BeardEase Skincare products, including but not limited to creams, treatments, and topical formulations are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Once cosmetic products leave our control, we cannot verify:
β€’ How they were stored
β€’ Whether they were opened or exposed to contaminants
β€’ Whether they were used, tested, or altered

Accepting cosmetic products back would be unhygienic, unsafe, and non-compliant with cosmetic safety standards in South Africa.

As a result:
β€’ We do not accept returns
β€’ We do not offer exchanges
β€’ We do not issue refunds
on cosmetic products for reasons including dissatisfaction, incorrect purchase, skin sensitivity, or change of mind.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders (Exception)

The only circumstance under which a refund or replacement may be considered is if:
β€’ The product arrives damaged, leaking, defective, or
β€’ You receive the incorrect item

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@beardeaseskincare.co.za, including:
β€’ Your order number
β€’ Clear photos of the product and packaging

If the claim is verified, we will offer:
β€’ A replacement, or
β€’ A full refund of the product/s (excluding shipping cost)

Claims submitted outside the 48-hour window may be declined.

3. Allergic Reactions & Skin Sensitivity

Skin is personal. Results vary.

We strongly recommend conducting a patch test before full application. BeardEase Skincare is not liable for individual skin reactions once a product has been used.

Due to hygiene regulations:
β€’ Products cannot be returned or refunded due to allergic reactions or sensitivity.

4. Consumer Protection Act (CPA) Compliance

This policy operates in line with the South African Consumer Protection Act, which allows suppliers to refuse returns on goods that:
β€’ Are intended for personal use, and
β€’ Cannot be resold due to health or hygiene reasons once supplied

Cosmetic products fall squarely within this category.

5. Please Review Before Purchasing

We encourage customers to carefully review:

β€’ Ingredients lists
β€’ Directions for use

If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your skin, contact us before placing your order. Once purchased and shipped, the sale is considered final.
