At BeardEase Skincare, we partner with reliable third-party courier services to deliver your order safely and efficiently. While we do everything within our control to dispatch orders promptly, delivery timelines are subject to courier operations, location, and external factors beyond our direct control.

This policy outlines how shipping works, what to expect, and where responsibility begins and ends.

1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
• Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and South African public holidays.
• Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking details, where available.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timelines are estimates and begin after dispatch, not on the order date.

Inland / Major Metropolitan Areas
• 2–5 business days

Non-Remote Outlying Areas
• 5–7 business days

Remote & Hard-to-Reach Areas
• 7–14 business days

Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Delivery times may vary depending on:
• Courier capacity
• Weather conditions
• Load-shedding disruptions
• Regional accessibility

3. Public Holidays & Peak Periods

During South African public holidays, long weekends, or peak trading periods, shipping timelines may be extended.

Couriers may operate on reduced schedules, which can cause delays. BeardEase Skincare is not liable for delays caused by public holidays or courier backlogs.

We recommend placing orders early if delivery is time-sensitive.

4. Third-Party Courier Responsibility

We use independent third-party courier services to fulfill deliveries.

Once an order has been handed over to the courier:
• Delivery timelines are managed by the courier
• Delays, route changes, or operational disruptions fall outside our direct control

That said, we do not disappear. If an issue arises, we will assist in following up with the courier where reasonably possible.

5. Incorrect Address Details

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping details are accurate and complete at checkout.

BeardEase Skincare is not responsible for:
• Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses
• Orders delivered to the wrong address due to customer error

Additional shipping costs incurred as a result of incorrect details may be passed on to the customer.

6. Failed or Returned Deliveries

If a delivery attempt fails due to:
• Customer unavailability
• Incorrect address information
• Failure to respond to courier communication

The order may be returned to the courier depot or sender. Any re-delivery costs will be for the customer’s account.

7. Shipping Delays & Liability

While we aim to meet stated delivery timelines, BeardEase Skincare does not guarantee delivery dates.

We are not liable for delays caused by:
• Courier operational issues
• Acts of God
• Strikes
• Load-shedding
• Public holidays
• Force majeure events

Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched.

8. Need Assistance?

If your order appears delayed beyond the estimated timeframe, contact us with your order number and we’ll engage the courier on your behalf.
